  • Review of "H&R Block" at Massillon

    If you went here before H&R block was in charge, please do not go to this place expecting to have the same service that you would expect. The woman at the front was rude and dismissive. She spoke to me with a tone that suggested that I was inferior, possibly a toddler. I should have left then. But I stayed and went through the process on February 19. My husband stopped in after work that same evening to sign and everything was ready to be filed. We just received a voicemail from them that we needed to go in and sign so that our taxes could be filed. Today. March 22. I called and another dismissive woman told me that it was just a matter of one more click of the mouse. I told her that we have been expecting our return for weeks. Her response? "Well I wasn't here that day. It's filed now." No apology of any kind for a mistake on their end. Wow. Huge disappointment. I would love to find a place where they are competent and professional.

    Working with Atty. Ciotola and his staff has been a pleasant experience. Before deciding to file bankruptcy, I met with Atty. Ciotola and he was very clear in describing a variety of options that were available to me- and some of those options didn't include or require his services. At no point did I feel pressured to make a decision that would lead to his involvement. He was very helpful answering a wide array of questions I had during the whole process, always in a prompt and timely manner. Interactions with members of his staff were always informative and cordial. Information and messages left with his secretary always were delivered and relayed very efficiently. From start to finish, the level of professionalism remained extremely high. I would highly recommend Ciotola Law to anyone who has decided to, or is in the process of trying to decide to, file bankruptcy.

    This place is wonderful, the two ladies working in here know their stuff even tho me and my wife were the first ones who they have helped this season, they had problems with the system but still knew their taxes codes and everything.
